West Bainbridge Primary Media Center Staff
Our Media Specialist, Ms. Jones is passionate about fostering a love for reading and learning. She has been a Media Specialist for 12 years with five of those years at WBP. Mrs. Rodriguez has been the media center paraprofessional for four years. Ms. Jones collaborates with teachers and other district media specialists to support classroom instruction and create engaging activities that promote literacy and instill a lifelong passion for learning.
Engaging Programs and Events
The media center hosts a range of programs and events throughout the school year to encourage student engagement. From book fairs and reading challenges to storytelling sessions and fun library lessons, these activities spark curiosity and excitement about reading. Our programs aim to create a sense of community and inspire a lifelong love of literature.
Technology and Learning Spaces
In addition to its book collection, our media center is equipped with technology resources including computers, 3Dprinters, and VR Headsets. These tools along with the Maker Space foster creativity, innovation, and collaboration while enhancing learning through hands-on activities, access to resources, and the development of 21st-century skills.
